we had a great 2 night stay in a lovely family room. the room was super clean and the bathroom was nice. we had dinner one night and it was no complaints from us! brekfast was a win too! loved the atmosphere and was quiet at night, which was perfect for us.
the couch bed made the room a bit tight for us 3. also, a little more attention to detail in the cleaning would be good.

We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the delicious breakfast cooked to order. The cozy bar area was a nice spot to wind down. It’s great to relax with both a lovely garden and a welcoming lounge available. The only small hiccup was some noise from outside, but it’s totally part of the vibe! 😊

I enjoyed my stay, highlighting the comfortable beds and excellent breakfast options that truly impressed me. I encountered a bit of noise due to the main road nearby, and I noticed some areas could benefit from a more detailed cleaning. This place is great for families looking for a cozy getaway, but some maintenance could enhance the experience.

The room was spacious and clean with a large bathroom, providing a comfortable stay. Food in the pub exceeded expectations, particularly the exceptional breakfast. the shower drain needed cleaning, which led to some unpleasant odors, and while WiFi was available in the pub, it didn’t extend to the rooms. The village setting added charm, being surrounded by historical architecture.

Super comfy stay!
Had a lovely 2-night stay! The room was huge, fresh, and cozy—really liked the decor! The best part was the super friendly staff. It was mostly quiet, despite being near the road. Only downside was the breakfast service got a bit slow on our first morning. The bar area was nice too for a drink after a day of exploring.

Rooms reflect a charming historical ambiance but could use some modern touches. The location is delightful, right near a picturesque church that adds character to the stay.
The double room felt dated with a mattress that might as well have been made of concrete. pillows didn’t help either. Noise from nearby roads and church bells was relentless, keeping us awake, while a poorly designed shower in the bath made for a clumsy experience. Parking was an issue, with a lack of spaces leading us to a public lot a ways away. Not to mention a dirty scourer found on the bathroom windowsill and insufficient cleaning standards throughout. Breakfast was mediocre, and the slow service left us waiting with our stomachs grumbling.

Charming stay with fab staff
Had a lovely night here! The location was spot on with the church right across the street, and the staff were super friendly. Our room was cozy and modern, but the church clock kept chiming all night which was a bit annoying. Breakfast was delish, especially the full English! Just beware the showers can be hit or miss.

my stay at greene king inns was delightful! the staff, especially the manageress, were incredibly charming and friendly, going above and beyond. the location was great, allowing us to enjoy views of the beautiful church and the windmill. the food and drink were standard heritage fare, which was just what we needed.
